Tiarra Murphy

Tiarra Tishera Murphy joined The Center as the Evaluation Coordinator. She is responsible for evaluating the success of our programs externally, as well as evaluating The Center holistically as it operates internally. In addition she is currently completing her Master's in Public Health with a Concentration in Behavioral, Social & Health Education. She also earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia, in Humanistic Psychology, while double minoring in Anthropology, and Gender & Sexuality Studies. Tiarra is passionate about incorporating culturally centered Mindfulness intervention tools for Black/African American Communities, to decrease poor health outcomes. She was born and raised in New Jersey and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She enjoys connecting with her roots in nature, finding cultural events, spending quality with her friends & family, and learning something new.
