Mary Williams-Stover

Equity-Centered Policy Manager

Mary Williams-Stover joined The Center as the equity-centered policy manager. She manages grant projects that address health disparities through collaborative policy efforts, contributes to the capacity building model by centering policies in equity, and develops resources for educating and engaging partners. She brings over 25 years of leadership, project management and advocacy experience as former director of diversity at United Way of America, vice president of marketing at United Way of the Triangle, and executive director of the NC Council for Women and Youth Involvement. Her passion is volunteering with non-profit organizations and coalitions seeking to improve the lives of women and Black communities. She actively serves the NC Coalition on Aging, Western Wake County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and ERA NC. She lives in Cary, NC with her family.
