The H.E.A.R.T. Coalition embarked on the Healthy Food Initiatives in partnership with The Center for Black Health & Equity in 2021. The project initiative, focused in Atlanta, GA, has been a success with the input of the community, universities, advisory board and team members.

A few of the successes include:

• Media education campaign

We have successfully hosted a town hall event, focus group, and media education campaign. We look forward to continuing our work alongside The Center as they keep providing guidance and training to support the initiative.
